almotamar-net - SANA'A-Interior minister Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi retuned home on Sunday after his participation in the 23rd annual conference of the Arab interior ministers council that was held late in January in Tunisia, and his participation in the European Police Conference that was held in Berlin during the period 15-16 February.
Al-Alimi also said that the conference came out with decisions and recommendations that would serve the joint Arab security and enhance the coordination and cooperation between the interior ministers in the Arab countries.
The conference made a decision, according to a proposal that has been offered by Yemen, to support the Somali security authorities, in addition to rebuilding the state to achieve stability across Somalia.
Al-Alimi said that he presented to the European Police Conference a paper about Yemeni efforts to struggle against terrorism and the successes made in this regard and the difficulties that Yemen faces, in addition to the requirements that the Yemeni security authorities need to strengthen their performance.
Al-Alimi added that he held talks with German interior minister about the means of enhancing the security cooperation between the two friendly counties, in addition to discussing security agreement that is intended to be signed soon.
