Almotamar.net - Deputy Premier for Interior Affairs Sadeq Amin Abu Ras on Wednesday called for keeping away from political wrangles that harm the country. Addressing the opening of the Yemeni lawyers general conference in Sana'a on Wednesday he clarified the homeland is for all and its protection is the responsibility of all against any traitor, saboteur and terrorist.
Mr Abu Ras said by dialogue ," We can tackle all the issues of national building up fore the purpose of comprehensive renascence of the Yemeni society and protection of national unity and constants as well as encountering outlaws and implementation strongly the laws against outlaws whosoever they were.
The Deputy Premier affirmed the political leadership , headed by the President, attention towards the civil society organisations in Yemen and offering them the special care for enhancement of social partnership , at the forefront of which is the lawyers' union that undertake application of the law and participation with judiciary and prosecution apparatuses in laying sovereignty of the law, justice, and defence of human rights.
On his part the Minister of Justice Dr Ghazi Shaef al-Aghbari said there professional or partisan or regional group that can be above the law, pointing out to the fuss aroused on prosecution of journalists on criminal charges. He said with all respect and appreciation to all journalists and writers ," we wonder why id a journalist is accused of committing any act incriminated by the law and legal procedures taken against him there is such a fuss ? " He said the journalist is not infallible and not safeguarded against legal accountability for acts legally incriminated. He also expressed his wonder about falsifying the facts.
