At a Ramadan evening held in Mahweet governorate Saturday Dr al-Alimi called on all the Yemenis and social organisations to condemn theses terrorist acts that the Islamic religion refuses and they offend the morals of the Yemenis.
He also called on mosque preachers and religious guides to undertake their role in enlightening the society on the danger of terror and safeguarding the minds of the youth against extremist ideas.
Dr al-Alimi also said the march of construction and development that the governorate has been witnessing will not stop until the achievement of all hat the population of the governorate aspires for of development and progress in all fields. He has also affirmed that the upcoming parliamentary elections would be held in their fixed date in April 2009 without any delay or postponement. Al-Alimi said those who talk that the homeland is in political or cultural or economic or even partisan crisis are they living the crisis inside their minds but the homeland is not in a crisis and in steady development. He called on those who speak of crises to present alternatives that would tackle the economic situations and creating new resources that serve the national economy and the development in general.
