Almotamar.net - The US Justice department’s Office of Public Relations issued a press statement on Friday included clarifications and official corrections concerning decision of the US District Judge Paul Courtney Huck in the Southern District of Florida who condemned later the Latin Node Inc. (Latinode)due to its involvement in paying bribes to foreign officials.
The statement denied categorically that the son of the Yemeni President had received any bribes from the Latin Node Inc.
According to court documents, company e-mails indicate that company executives believed potential payment recipients included Yemeni government officials. Court documents do not allege or refer to evidence showing that the son of the Yemeni president received any payments from Latin Node. No foreign government officials are the subjects of U.S. investigations of this matter.
The statement corrected clarifications, a move very rarely issued by the US Justice Department, all null allegations that offended the person of the son of the Yemeni President.
The statement confirmed honesty of the Yemeni government statements in its denial that none of the president’s cons has any connection with the American Incorporation Latinode and indicated that mentioning the name of the President’s son was just unintended mistake that has be corrected by the American side.
It is worth mentioning that the court documents in the company trial pointed only to a claim by one of the middlemen of the company of knowing the son of the Yemeni President.
That what has been taken advantage by some media instruments without verification of the correctness of the news despite that they published the documents.
