Almotamar.net - Yemen Vice President of the Republic VP Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi has asserted Saturday that the genuine national conciliation is that which was realized on 22 May when the Yemenis had surmounted the tragedies of the divisional past and the Yemeni nation affair came together and soared above wounds of the past.

At the consultative meeting held in Sana’a on Saturday and was chaired by president Ali Abdullah Saleh, the VP has made it clear that the call at present for reconciliation and forgiveness is but a word of right with adverse intention. He affirmed that those violating the law and public order and those instigating hatreds and rancour, the advocates for regionalism and sectarianism are in fact instruments in the hands of forces hostile to unity and above all they are he enemies of revolution, the republic and democracy, calling on all to join forces and entertain wakefulness and high caution in order to preserve the national achievements.
Mr Hadi said the patriotic responsibility dictates on all political forces to preserve the great accomplishments of the people and the homeland . Those accomplishments are considered the live embodiment of principles and goals of the revolution of 26 September and 14 October and it is inevitable that the adhesion of all the good forces should be enhanced in defence of all the realized gains. This would inform those outlaws and saboteurs wherever they were in the southern governorates or in Saada that they do not represent the people of Yemen. The Vice President , however has not denied the existence of mistakes and negatives in practice despite of the achieved gains in the course of the process of construction. Those mistakes have been diagnosed in a courageous historical step by President Ali Abdullah Saleh in his election platform I which he gained 77% in the latest presidential elections.

The VP said that Yemen is there to be unified and by its reunification all forms of fragmentation and conflicts experienced by Yemen in the south and the north have come to and. He confirmed the responsibility of all to repel the reckless acts in some districts carried out by some elements violating the constitution and the law.
