Almotamar.net - Meetings of the second session of the General People’s Conference GPC’s 7th General Conference is to start next Tuesday. An official source at the GPC has said Thursday that the preparatory committees for the General Conference have finished all the documents to be submitted to the meeting for discussion and approval.

The source added that the session would discuss various national issues, among them results of the national dialogue with different political forces and civil society organizations in addition to the future visions aimed at developing the living standard of the citizens and fighting poverty, unemployment, corruption and terror in addition to reforms and amendments aimed at evolving the political system. The source also confirmed that members of the 7th General Conference would study the issue of facing all the attempts at are meant to impinge on the national unity, security, stability and the social peace in addition to confronting regionalism calls and spread of the spirit of hatred among the people, through participation with all of the political forces and civil society organisations in the national arena for shouldering the responsibility in regards of those issues and other different ones of intere4sdt to the homeland.

The source pointed out that the session would consider a report by the GPC Secretary General that contains what have been accomplished of tasks and the political and organizational performance of the GPC in the period between the first and the second sessions, pointing out that the report is also to contain activity of the ministerial and consultative body of the GPC in the past period. The session would also consider a report by the organizational and financial inspection body as well as amendments of the GPC’s rules of procedure.
