Almotamar.net - A high-level Yemeni government delegation comprised of Central Organisation for Central Auditing COCA, Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission SVACC, and the Financial Committee at the parliament heads for Germany on Tuesday on a 9-day visit. the aim of the visit is to get acquainted with the German experience in anticorruption and financial revision and monitoring as well as learning the cooperation and cooperation between anti-cheating and fraud bureau and the European auditing office.
The visit comes as part of the existing cooperation between then German establishment for technical cooperation and both of Yemeni COCA and SNACC, aimed at supporting and developing of performance of concerned institutions in Yemen.
Office of the German establishment for technical cooperation GTZ in Yemen said in a press statement , almotamar.net obtained a copy of it , the 14-member Yemeni delegation chaired by SNACC chairman Ahmed Mohammed al-Anisi , chairman of the COCA Dr Abdullah al-Sanafi and Mohammed Qassim al-Naqib, member of the financial committee at the parliament would visit the auditing office in Berlin, committee of financial compatibility and the German federal parliament in addition to finance ministry and international transparency organisation.
Director of the GTZ in Yemen has expressed his hope that all who are concerned in the visit would be able to benefit from experiences of the institutions they are going to visit and that to help improve and support performance of the concerned sides.
For his part al-Anisi expressed interest in the visit and confirmed the significance of developing and improving revision and enhancing accountability systems in the said apparatuses working in Yemen.
