Almotamar.net - Official sources said on Friday that military units were able to repel attacks and infiltration attempts by elements of terror and sabotage in south Leyah valley and near the heights of Al-Hanan. Those elements have sustained heavy losses in lives and equipment.

Eyewitnesses said elements of terror and sabotage were seen loading five cars with the killed and wounded elements in Al-Malahidh front and that was during their attack on Al-Hanan heights and other heights.

In Sufyan axis military units have achieved a big advice in many of positions. armed forces men and in cooperation with citizens launched blitz attacks on terrorists hideouts and dealt to them painful strikes in the areas near Al-Baraka height , Abla valley , Shamsa height and passes near Jalham Mountain. The fighters have controlled on many of the important positions after expelling the elements of terror and sabotage and inflicted on them heavy losses and continued their chasing their remnants that fled the positions they were defeated from. Other military units advanced towards the area to the south-east the mountain overlooking Bajash from the direction of east Shamar height.

Official sources mentioned that military units dealt strong strikes to terrorist elements that were gathering near Bart crossroads and near the position Qarn al-Damam and those elements were expelled that fled the area . The military units also dealt strong blows to terrorist elements in the position of Qiroun Al-Fahad while direct and effective strikes were dealt to amber of terrorists' vehicles behind Black heights, inflicting on them heavy losses.

The sources added that sniper men of the armed forces targeted many posts and hideouts of the terrorists in areas nearby and around positions of Al-Dhalaa, Al-Mahkama, the Red height and Qarn Al-Damam, inflicting on them heavy lose. Another armed forces sniper managed to hit a gathering of terrorists north of Beit Al-hakim, inflicting on them effective and direct hits.

Terrorist and sabotage elements have sustained heavy losses during their infiltration attempts to some of the positions they were defeated from. On the other hand specialized engineering units removed a large number of landmines planted around Al-Baraka height and other positions.
The sources added that 35 of the elements of terror and sabotage were arrested in Saada province in the past hours.

The sources said 6 of terrorist elements were captured in Al-Malahidh and found in their possession two mobile phones of dual SIM cards issued by one of the Saudi communication companies and also they captured the terrorist Faed Talib Ghaythan Ali Atif.

Sources in Al-Jawf province mentioned that that citizens confronted 24 elements of terror and sabotage who were riding 12 motorcycles after they arrived at Azan areas in the district Khab and Al-Shaaf to block the high way of Saada-Al-Jawf and they were prevented from doing that and they headed for Al-Yatma area behind Sueiqa Mountain.
