Almotamar.net - Yemen Interior Minister General Mutahar Rashad al-Masri revealed the killing of more than 30 terrorists from al-Qaeda organization and the arrest of others during the small past period. The Minister confirmed the control over majority of areas and mountains of SSaada and that victory over the elements of rebellion and sabotage is approaching.
Addressing new personnel of emergency and general security policemen on Sunday, al-Masri emphasized that the security apparatuses have dealt strong hits to terrorist elements, describing them as small group that would be chased and eliminated from all Yemeni areas.
The minister pointed out that the state was currently facing three challenges. One is the Houthi rebellion, indicating the nearness of achieving victory over them in the wake of controlling the majority of areas and mountains of Saada. he considered the so-called southern movement as media inflation by some media outlets, saying, “In reality the honourable citizens in the eastern and southern provinces are unionists and defended the unity in 1994 and are defending it today against some mercenaries who are known of their bad past and behavior by most of the citizens in provinces of Abyan, Al-Dhalie and Lahj,’”adding that security is established in the homeland areas.
