Almotamar.net - A meeting convening the local authority, Sheikhs and social figures in Saada province held in the city to discuss implementation of the six conditions after the ceasefire and the Houthis announcement of committing the six points the National Defence Council had put as conditions for halting military operations and establishment of peace in the north –west of the country.
Secretary General of the Local Council Mohammed al-Imad told Almotamar.net the meeting welcomed stopping military operations, stressing the necessity of the Houthi rebels’ implementation of the conditions in accordance with the defined periods of time and without delay of the implementation process for the return of peace, security and stability to Saada city.
He added that the committees for supervising the implementation of the six points have started their work and wished that they would take right and sincere decisions and to proceed in the implementation according to the fixed timetable. He has also that no violations were reported in the city of Saada on Saturday.
Sheikh Faiz al-Awjeri, member of the committee overseeing the implementation of the agreement in Saada axis said the situation today is better than yesterday and no violations of the ceasefire were reported.
Al-Awjeri told Almotamar.net that they have been informed that the Houthis representatives in the committees would be arriving at the afternoon of Saturday and matters would be better towards the final solution.
Meanwhile the governor of Saada province Taha Abdullah Hajir held on Saturday a meeting with the committee entrusted with supervising implementation of the six points for the establishment of peace in the north-west area.
The governor affirmed readiness of the province leadership for full cooperation with the committee and overcoming all difficulties facing its tasks.
