Ali Abdullah Saleh , the Yemeni Prime Minister Ali Mujawar , the Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs , the Minister of Planning and international Cooperation Abdul Karim al-Arhabi , the Minister of Finance Nouman al-Suhaibi and the Amador the Yemen Central Bank , the American official has expressed the support of the government of the United States for Yemen’s efforts for the enhancement of the economic development and the financial situation of the country.
In a press conference he held at the conclusion of his visit to Yemen on Wednesday, the US official said the US support for Yemen expresses the broad relations between the two countries, and affirmed that the support would centre on al areas for the aim of improving the Yemeni citizens’ living conditions, empowerment of the youth and women projects of health and in the countryside and sewage.
He added that the visit to Yemen came in response to instructions by the US President Barack Obama aiming at holding talks with senior Yemeni officials to discuss areas of expanding bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of economic development and in confirmation of the US support for the economic reforms that Yemen is carrying out.
