Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Saturday with sheikhs ,social figures, members of local councils, and leaders of parties and civil society organizations in District of Maswar, and Alashmor and Masane'a areas in Amran province.
During the meeting, Saleh praised the national positions of those areas' sons, whom he described as soldiers of the homeland and development.
He pointed out that the needs expressed by the attendants would be taken into account, including road projects, directing in this regard to implement Alashmor- Alasm -Maswar road and Bni-Mahdi-Beit Athaqa road, and Maswar's water project.
"We will requite faithfulness for faithfulness in return to all loyal people of the homeland", said Saleh urging sheikhs and social figures to hold a general reconciliation in their areas in order to turn to efforts of reconstruction and development.
At the meeting, Saleh discussed with the attendants issues concerning to the citizens in those areas and their needs of service and developmental projects, as well as the issues and developments that concern to the homeland.
A number of the attendants talked in the meeting expressing their appreciation for the interest and care that has given to their areas by President Saleh and for the achievements that have been achieved, especially after his visit to the area in 2006.
They confirmed their support to all people of the country to face advocators of sedition, tear and all forms of sabotage and destruction and to maintain security, stability and unity of the country and the social peace.
In addition, they expressed their gratitude for the noble and humanitarian position of President Saleh toward Mohsen Zayed, a citizen from Maswar area, who was accompanying Sheikh Mohammed al-Moayad in jail in the U.S., and the efforts exerted by President Saleh to secure their release within his care for all citizens.
