By: almotamar.net - SANA’A- Editor-in-chief of 26 September newspaper Ali Hassan al-Shater considered the allegations of Rashida al-Qaili about receiving threatening calls from him as untrue and silly, affirming his right to resort to justice in this regard. .
In a statement to almotamar.net, al-Shater said al-Qaili’s allegations that she received threatening calls from him aim to defame him.
“If Rashida al-Qaili wants to support Hamid al-Ahmar with regard to his physical liquidation threat against him, then it is better for her to do another thing without having to resort to making such untrue allegations and lies, he added.
Al-Shater further noted he still has the right to “resort to general prosecution and justice in protest against al-Qaili’s allegations and offense leveled at him.”
In a solidarity meeting with al-Ahmar, al-Qaili said al-Shater had threatened to kill her, which is considered an attempt to mitigate the criticism wave and local and international condemnation of al-Ahmer’s threat against al-Shater.
