President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here Wednesday a letter from President Bashar Al Asssad of Syria on the ongoing bilateral relations and latest developments between Syria and the U.N's Inquiry Committee headed by Detliv Milis as well as the Syrian views regarding the way of dealing with the committee in accordance with the Security Council resolution no.1636 on investigating the assassination of former Lebanese, Prime Minister Rafiq Al Hariri.
The President also made a phone call to President Bashar Al- Assad during which he discussed his latest talks with the US president George Bush and French President Jacque Chirac during his last visit to both countries regarding the Syrian situation in light of Milis' report and Security Council resolution no.1636.
