In the opening of the 3rd national forum on " Fighting Malaria and Transmitted Diseases", prime minister
Abdul-Qader Ba-Jammalcalled for the international and regional cooperation with Yemen to fightand eradicate malaria and other
transmitted diseases.

He confirmed that this kind of cooperation did prove remarkable success in previous malaria fighting campaigns.

Ba-Jammal clarified that preparing and qualifying cadres to fight malaria in addition to cooperating with others form the main factors for Yemen's success in this field.

He also exposed the environmental, hygienic, cultural and enlightening factors to avoid being affected with malaria and emphasized on health culture which help people take precautions of diseases.

On the other hand, Minister of Public Health and Population Mohammed al-Nemi spoke over Yemen infection with malaria which puts it in the African-Asian group list. He confirmed that health progress was the main goal of thehealth system in Yemen in cooperation with the World
Health Organization,the International Fund for AIDS and Malaria Fight, UNESCO, WB, KSA, UAE and Oman which he paid much tribute to them.
