The report, of which almotamar.net obtained a copy, was released by the civil defense department at the ministry of interior. It states the 500 people fell victims to landslides, sweeping floods, and thunders.
Over the past two years, Yemen has witnessed various natural disasters, most prominent of which being al-Dhafeer village's landslide that claimed the lives of 65 people and destroyed 20 houses.
According to the report, the losses amounted to more than YR 1 billion.
