Almotamar Net - The Republic of Yemen will take part in the 6th annual conference of "States party to Ottawa treaty" to be held in Ukraine, 27-29 November.

Minister of state, chairman of the National Committee for Mines Action, Qasim al-Ajam said while leaving to Ottawa that the Yemeni delegation would present the Yemeni experience of de-mining comparing with other experiences.

Al-Ajam said Yemen was considered one of the first countries to take a remarkable stage in de-mining field and that encouraged donors to continue supporting Yemen in the field.

The countries which have verified the Ottawa Mine Ban Treaty are 145 countries including Yemen
