Almotamar Net - SANAA- President Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen called on all Somali factions and the parties taking part in confrontations to immediately stop their hostilities and armed confrontations and to go back to dialogue on then basis on what was agreed on in Khartoum, in the manner to heal the rift and enhancement of national unity. He urged dialogue in order to guarantee for the Somali people to restore security, stability and peace and to devote themselves to reconstruct what the war destroyed and also to rebuild the states establishments. That came in a telephone conversation president Saleh made Tuesday evening with the Somali interim government president Abdullah Yusuf |Ahmed who informed president Saleh on the latest developments on the Somali arena and confrontations between the government forces and those of the Islamic Courts.
President Saleh also expressed Yemen's concern over the regretful developments on the Somali territories. He affirmed the importance of return to the negotiating table and adherence to dialogue and resorting to peaceful solutions to avert more bloodshed and human and material losses in the country.
