Almotamar Net - The Yemeni parliament concluded Wednesday its discussion of internal trade draft law and added a new article granting the ministry of trade and industry the right to supervise and monitor the basic goods that are exempted from customs and sales tax, namely wheat, rice, milk and medicines. The parliament also allowed it to interfere in proper time to when prices of those commodities rise.

On the other hand the parliament abolished an amendment it entered on Tuesday on article 25 of the draft law stipulated the possibility that the cabinet defines prices ceiling during unjustifiable rise and returned the original article that says the possibility of that at times of only catastrophes and emergencies.

It is expected that the parliament will approve the; law in its final version next Saturday after 3-day deliberations.
