Almotamar.net - The Russian scientist Yavim Razvin deputy director of Anthropology and Ethnography of the Russian Sciences Academy their intention to produce a documentary film on old Yemen and holding ethnographic exhibition on the history old Yemen at the anthropology and ethnography museum in Petersburg next June.


Professor Razvin, who was one of the participants in the International Scientific Conference on the Yemeni civilization held lately in Yemen said in the future they intend to hold this exhibition in Moscow and abroad, describing the recent conference held in Aden as important and rich in content.

This year marks the 25th since the Soviet-Yemeni team has started its work in the Yemeni southern areas and presently the Russian archaeological team in Yemen is considered the successor of it.

Taking part in this film project are tens of Russian scientists of various branches and specialties and from different establishments including the Armitage Museum, the Geography Institute, Arts Academy and Moscow University.

The Russian professor said he hoped that the film and the exhibition will contribute to enhance the scientific and civilization relations between Russia and Yemen.
