almotamar.net - Investment Opportunities Exploration Conference (IOECY) continues Monday its meetings with reviewing investment opportunities in various sectors with participation of around 650 companies and 500 Arab and foreign participants.

The conference is scheduled to discuss today issues related to reality of the Yemeni economy, economic relations between Yemen and the Gulf States, investment environment in Yemen and its relevant legislations and the steps in the field of financial and economic reforms.

The conferees discuss trends of the upcoming stage, development of investment environment in Yemen, tourism, real estate development, oil and gas and mining and requirements of developing the infrastructure and opportunities related to them.

It is also scheduled that the conference is to discuss the topic of conversion industry in Yemen regarding potential and opportunities and the GCC states investments in Yemen in addition to Arab and foreign investments.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh opened Sunday the IOECY with a speech in which he reviewed the new orientations for encouraging investments and plans of the government for improving investment environment in addition to fighting corruption and continuation of economic, financial and administrative reforms.
