Almotamar.net Saba - Yemen Prime Minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar affirmed Monday the government determination to liberate the investment environment from all shortcomings and to redouble efforts of improving the investment environment.

In an open dialogue held today with businessmen and investors taking part in the Investment Opportunities Exploration in Yemen Conference (IOEYC) the prime minister said improving the investment environment and surmounting difficulties before investors is an irrevocable government commitment.

Dr Mujawar added the most brilliant and strongest indication of this tendency of securing friendly and attractive investment environment is the Yemeni government adoption of carrying out large-scale and comprehensive programme economic, financial, and institutional and political administrative reforms. That he said would motivate and encourage the private sector to work and move freely and easily n the Yemeni investment theatre.

Dr Mujawar also affirmed that the political leadership represented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the government give investors special care beside the laws and legislations offer investors al guarantees, privileges and facilities irrespective of their nationalities and volume of their investments.

He said " The private sector is in our national strategy, constitution and national economic policy and is the heart of development and dynamo and the pioneer of the project of the upcoming economic renascence in Yemen which we in the government draw together its features and brilliant horizons.

Addressing investors and businessmen Dr Mujawar said " from this distinguished gathering of businessmen we are looking forward to undertake this role in activating the wheel of economy in |Yemen through their investments in the countless investment opportunities of high profit so that to achieve the slogan of the conference. We expect in particular that our brother investors in the Gulf Cooperation Council and our partners to achieve the strategic goals of the region's states.
