The source said five cars with their passengers have been rescued after being drifted by Monday's torrents while civil defence teams and security men of the governorate are still looking for a driver of a tourist bus drifted while it was on heading for Al-Ghadha from Mukallah. All the passengers of the bus have been rescued except for the driver.

The source added that a 7-year old child was missing in Ghaidha district and search is going on to find him. At the same time three cars with their passengers were rescored in the same area, one of them was carrying an Emirates family.

The source pointed out that security chief of the governorate sent request to the inferior ministry asking for sending helicopters to rescue the affected and those surrounded with torrents in his governorate.

Yemen is presently facing heavy rainfalls that caused flow of torrential streams causing heavy damage.
