Almotamar.net - General Secretariat of Gulf Press Federation is to hold a meeting in Yemen next Tuesday to be chaired by Turky Bin Abdullah al-Sidiri chairman of the Federation. The meeting is to be hosted by Yemeni Al-Thawra Newspaper.

Secretary General of the Federation Nasser Mohammed al-Uthman said the meeting will discuss activation of the federation performance in the upcoming period and questions related to the federation, mainly fixing a date for the general assembly meeting which was scheduled to be held in Sana'a last month. The meeting will also discuss some internal matters of the general secretariat and plans of the Gulf Press Federation for the upcoming period.

The Federation groups newspapers and magazines issued in the Gulf Cooperation Council as well as press societies and organisations in the GCC states.
