A source at the local council of the district said the quake lasted for 5 to 10 seconds and caused shaking of the houses in the district but no damage was reported. The source considered the quake as the strongest seen in the district.

On the other hand security authorities captured a person on Tuesday and caught in his possession a quarter kg of hashish and three hand grenade.

The sources told almotamar.net that in searching the captured person's houses in the city of Saada they found there is a distiller for alcoholic drinks. Security men arrested the person and began interrogation with him.
