Almotamar,net - A workshop held over two days in Sana'a wrapped up its meetings with the establishment of a preparatory committee for coordination for the establishment of a Media-Parliament Forum in Yemen.

The participants from the parliament, media persons, academicians and representatives of the civil society organisations agreed on forming the committee from parliamentarians against corruption, MP Abdulbari Dughaish for " Yemeni MPs for prevention of AIDS", MP Abdeh al-Hathifi, reported of the parliamentary committee of information, culture and tourism, MP Sinan al-Ajami, reporter of the parliamentary committee for constitutional and legal affairs, Dr Abdulbaqi Shamsan, representative of the academics, and Ahmed al-Zakri for Parliamentary Editors which the workshop announced its soon formation on Sunday in addition to Thikra Abbas for the journalists taking part in the workshop and the Human Rights for Information and Training Centre (Hritc), the organizer of the workshop.

Founder of the Hritc Izzidin al-Asbahi expressed readiness of the Hritc to work for secretariat and provide necessary facilities until the formation of structure and method of the forum function in the few coming weeks. On the other hand al-Asbahi announced that the Hritc is preparing a press law covering all texts of laws and executive regulations related to the profession of journalism in the Yemeni legislations.
