almotamar.net - Foundation of Innocent Organisation was declared in Sana'a on Tuesday. It is composed of a number of social and media personalities and comes to coincide with the 6th anniversary of 9/11 events.

General coordinator of the organisation Yahya al-A'bid said the organisation aims at adopting issues of Yemeni detainees in Guantanamo Bay and putting pressure on the Yemeni government for speeding up directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh on the fast action for return of the Yemeni detainees from Guantanamo prison to receive just prosecution in Yemen.

Al-A'bid also pointed out that the organisation would organise an activity in a few days to officially declare the organisation. The organisation announced its welcoming the joining of any civil society organisations in Yemen and other political forces as well as civil society personalities as long as they believe in justice of the organisation's demands and rights of the detained citizens.

Through a group of activities the organisation seeks to demand the release of Yemeni detainees and handing them over to Yemeni authorities and it would try to reveal the tragic reality the prisoners in Guantanamo prison are experiencing.
