almotamar.net - Yemen's foreign minister Dr Abubakr al-Qirbi affirmed that convention of any conference for solving the conflict in the Middle East region, if does not take clear steps in a certain defined time period and a strict stand by the United States to help come out of the present impasse in which Israel fabricates to keep the situations as they are, it will lead to the unknown and more trouble.

The foreign minister said," The Arab peace initiative provides positive climates for the peace process and coming out of the cycle of violence to areas of cooperation."He added that the Saudi-Yemeni Coordination Council was considered as the best form of relation of cooperation between the Kingdom and Yemen and more active to for these relations which receive care and attention of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz and President Ali Abdullah Saleh and the relations were witnessing steady growth.

The Yemeni minister said stability of relations between Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and their development constitute a safety valve for stability of situations in the region of the Gulf and the Arabian Peninsula and the cornerstone of their future development. In an interview with the Saudi newsier Al-Madina minister al-Qirbi talked about many issues.

On the main topics on agenda of the meetings of the coming session of the Saudi-Yemen Coordination Council and his evaluation of the relations between the two countries minister al-Qirbi responded that the meeting of the council is being held Monday under co-chairmanship of the Yemeni premier Ali Mahmoud Mujawar and Emir Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, the crown prince, the deputy premier and it will handle questions of bilateral cooperation which almost include all aspects of cooperation in economic, cultural and trade areas. Among the most outstanding topics on the agenda are considering the level of carrying out the agreements signed by the two parties in previous sessions of the council. The support offered by the KSA to Yemen at the donor conference, implementation of the projects in Yemeni governorates funded by Saudi Funds and mainly the political coordination with regard to regional and international issues.

On Yemen's stance regarding the convening of the peace conference in the region being prepared by the US the minister said it was with every effort exerted for to solve the Arab-Israeli conflict the essence of which is the Palestinian issue to take into consideration legitimacy of the Palestinian people for restoration of their rights, the establishment of their independent state, return of the refugees and withdrawal of Israel from the Syrian Golan Heights and the Lebanese Shabaa Farms. He said the Arab peace initiative is good and balance foundation for settlement of this conflict.

On the inter-fighting between the Palestinian factions and its reflection on future of the Palestinian issue al-Qirbi said the fighting between the largest factions composing the Palestinian national movement is unforgivable crime and such act inflicts the gravest damage on the Palestinian people.

On the Iraqi bloody situation the Yemeni minister said," I do not know where the developments of situations in Iraq lead us. Violence claims the lives of the innocent and there are tens of victims every day. This violence controls the maps of political conflict and what increases the matter complication is the domination of the sectarian spirit on it. It bleeds the heart to see horrible physical liquidation on sectarian basis having nothing to do with Iraqi nationalism that has been embodied throughout Iraq's long history. "

The Yemeni foreign minister said what is happening in Lebanon is strongly affected by developments of the Arab Israeli conflict and intermingling of regional and international policies. It is a matter arousing anxiety about its future, the minister said.

Concerning the return of offences against Prophet Mohammed by some western media (Swedish press) the minister said the racial campaigns on the Islamic religion including those targeting the Messenger of God Mohammed have become rejected and do not interest enlightened the western political and religious circ les and very soon they are faced with opposition and criticism by those circles. Every day there are voices calling for dialogue between religions and civilisations and religious tolerance.

On the recent developments of al-Houthi rebellion in Saada the Yemeni minister said nothing new has happened and the area is calm and there are no armed confrontations . The agreement sponsored by Qatar and supervised by the committee formed of the Yemeni political parties is still the most important for solving the rebellion peacefully. The state is committed to directives of the president and practices the utmost degree of self-restraint out of kermes on sparing blood of the Yemenis and Saada restoration of its stability so that the government can devote itself to reconstruction of what was destroyed in the military confrontations.
