A source for the Coast Guard told almotamar.net they have intercepted two foreign boats bearing no plates coming from the Sudanese city of Kasala and were carrying 600 sheep as they were trying to enter them to Hudeida through the coastal city of Midi.

While investigation is being conducted with a Saudi and Eritrean persons, owners of the two boats, the sheep shipment was dispatched to where it came from.

It is to be mentioned that the Yemeni government imposed a ban on cattle entry to Yemeni territories except via Al-Makha port and under authorisation from the Yemeni ministry of agriculture after they are subjected to medical checking.
