almotamar.net - The political advisor to the president of the republic Dr Abdulkarim al-Eryany said Wednesday the civil society organisations are essential support of the state institutions and bodies. He added that spread of the civil society organisations in Yemen reflects the freedom and democracy the country is experiences.

In his address to opening of the 1st coordinative meeting of the human forum al-Eryany praised the idea of the presence of a world human forum and establishment of its branch in Yemen working on establishment of the culture of solidarity between the civil the society and promotion for dialogue and understanding and informing on the Islamic culture and heritage similar to the role played by the Yemeni Red Crescent and Islamic Relief of human responsibilities regionally and internationally.

Member of the Shoura Council, the chairman of the Yemeni Red Crescent Dr Mohammed al-Kabab said that the society is playing a prominent role in the volunteer humanitarian work and the establishment of a branch of the forum in Yemen is an indication that Yemen has its outstanding contributions un the humanitarian action.

On the other hand the chairman of Islamic relief society Dr Hani al-Banaa talked in the opening ceremony on the importance of building humanitarian forums in a number of countries to be international partners in the humanitarian work.

Following the opening session the participants discussed the tasks of the forum, the bases of its establishment and the way of its work. The meeting came out with formation of a volunteering sub-committee for drawing up the constituent rules of the forum.
