almotamar.net - Security units of Yemeni Coast Guard forces and Navy arrested Thursday two Egyptian fishing boats that had infiltrated the Yemeni territorial waters in violation of the law.

In a statement to almotamar.net a Cost Guard official source aid a Yemeni patrol caught the two Egyptian boats at a late hour on Tuesday just three miles away from the coasts of the Yemeni city of Hudeida, west Yemen. The source confirmed retaining the two boats and the 15-20 Egyptian fishermen who were on board of each boat.

The same source also told almotamar.net they had on Tuesday managed to rescue a Yemeni fishing boat that malfunctioned two days earlier due to a technical fault in its engine and transported the boat and its 5 fishermen to Al-Salif port.
