almotamar.net - SANAA, 25Dec (Almotamar.net)-The approved Tuesday the establishment of tourist faculties and institutes in Yemen in addition to specialised local committees contributing to activate promotion of tourism. In its weekly meeting today the cabinet chaired by Premier Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar approved the establishment of two tourist institutes in the governorates of Hadramout and Hudeida.

The cabinet also approved report by the foreign minister on results of meetings of the Yemeni Mauritanian joint committee held in Sana'a on 1-3 of this month.

The cabinet meeting approved the memorandum of understanding signed between the Yemeni ministry of higher education and scientific research and the Arab league on cooperation in the field of open education and establishment of a branch for the Arab Open University in Yemen. The cabinet asked the asked the minister of higher education to finalise the legal procedures with regard to the agreement.
