almotamar.net - Major Suad Mohammed, trainer at the school for training police soldiers in Yemen said Saturday that the school has lately increasing turnout by girls holding university degrees and secondary school graduates for joining the women police in Yemen in an indication to success of woman police in Yemen, a career receiving support and attention by the political leadership.

Major Suad told almotamar.net she was training the last batch that joined the woman police whose number amounted to 500 girls out of 700 applicants from different governorates.

She pointed out that the new batch is the third one of its kind and it is currently receiving training on order movements and the use of weapons.

It is to be mentioned that admission committee has subjected the batch of woman police to tests in line with criteria approved by the sector of training and qualification at the ministry of interior in accordance with admission system at the school.
