The ambassador added that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia works on supporting the Yemen accession to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) because Yemen is part of that geographical and social fabric and pointed out that the Kingdom annually grants 300 university scholarships to Yemeni students.

Ambassador al-Ahwal, during his meeting with Yemeni media men Wednesday taking part in the training course held in Riyadh, praised also the Yemeni-Saudi cooperation in political, security, economic, trade and investment cooperation and said " that reflects depth of the fraternal ties grouping the countries peoples."

During the meeting the head of the Yemeni journalistic delegation taking part in the training course Jalal al-Sharaabi praised the raining course for Yemeni journalists as the first of its kind and considered a product of the brotherly relations between the two countries.
