Dr Madani said ," We have to head for this aspect more carefully by exchange of media expertise and training media people in the two countries for what is done now is all official visits."

During his meeting Sunday with the Yemeni journalists in Riyadh the Minister Madani praised the bilateral cooperation of Yemen and KSA in the cultural area "this ministry is for information and culture and there is a Yemeni week to be organized in Riyadh in two weeks time and there is presently a Yemeni cultural scientific week held at the University of King Abdulaziz in Jeddah."

The Saudi minister revealed of collective participation by all Arab information ministers for discussion of a draft document of principles of organizing the Arab broadcasting and television satellite transmission that was signed in Cairo this month. He has further said, "Principles Declaration Document is a matter worked on for some time and in more than a meeting and all Arab Information Ministers have participated in it, including Qatar, because the Arab region is the only one in the world where there is no organizational framework for information in it."

He said the great majority of the Arab satellite channels are lacking of any political or cultural or social mission and their goal is the profit and looking for commercial advertising and that 80% are owned by the private sector.
