Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid on Tuesday a visit to Asalm, Khairan al-Maharq, Aflah alYaman and al-Mahabshah districts in Hajjah province and urged the officials there to solve the citizens' issues immediately and asked the local councils to shoulder the responsibility of following up implementation of projects that meet the citizens' needs.

The president also pointed out the role undertaken by the local councils in accelerating rates of development and translating the inhabitants' aspirations.

President Saleh also met the people in the districts he visited and asked about their conditions and needs and in meeting with officials of the local authority and executive offices and figures he discussed with them the progress of work in the constructed projects or those under construction.

The President gave orders to finalize the projects of roads and electricity in the districts of Hajjah province.
