almotamar-net - SANA'A,- Minister of Fisheries Mahmoud Ibrahim Sagiri discussed here on Sunday with the American ambassador to Sana'a Thomas Krajeski on the fishery mutual cooperation and means of enhancing it.
They also discussed the possibility of offering an American grant for projects in fishery filed such as establishing a fishing port in Hodeidah with a total cost US $13 million.
Sagiri reviewed the steps and performances of the ministry in improving the fisheries sector. He also briefed the current steps to execute the 5th fishery project that costs US $ 35 million, wishing more American support in the field.
For his part, the American official affirmed the American readiness to support Yemen to establish the fishing port in the framework of cooperation relations between the two countries.
