Sana'a, - Yemen Airways has began training the first batch of its crews on early detection of passengers suspected of being infected with H5N1, mainly those coming from bird flu afflicted countries.
Director General of Anti-Diseases and Epidemics Directorate, Dr. Abdulhakim Al Kahlani, said a special guide was made available for plane crews, adding that more than 300 crew members will get the necessary training this week to receive detailed information on the disease. He said that 509 health workers throughout Yemen will also be trained on ways of dealing with bird flu cases.
