Almotamar.net - The Judiciary Higher Council (JHC) has on Wednesday announced formation of judicial bodies specialised in considering election challenges related to election of the capital mayor and the governors scheduled to be held in Yemen next month.

The JHC has set up 20 judicial bodies each of which is composed of three judges. The announcement was issued in the wake of a meeting by the JHC held Wednesday presided over by Head of the JHC Judge Issam al-Samawi who is also Chairman of the supreme Court. The meeting was held to consider a memorandum sent by the Minister of Justice about appointment of judicial committees in the provincial capitals.

The judicial bodies have the specialization of considering and deciding election challenges related to election of the mayor of the capital and governors of the provinces.
