Almotamar.net - Yemeni coasts have recently received 49 Somali migrants as part of continuous wave of migration since eruption of battles and disturbance of the situations in Somalia.

Local sources in Shabwa governorate, east of Yemen, told almotamar.net that in late last week they received 49 Somali refugees including men and women on the coasts of Bir Ali. The sources said the refugees were directly transported to a camp specially built to receive Somali refugees in the presence of a representative for the UNHCR.

The new group of Somali refugees comes as a result of ferocious battles happened in the streets of the Somali capital Mogadishu last week between insurgents affiliated to the leadership of the Islamists and Ethiopian forces and resulted in the killing of more than 80 persons.
