almotamar.net - The Ministry of Local Administration (LAM) has on Tuesday evening finished the meeting with the supervising committees entrusted with carrying out elections of governors and the distribution of documents and cards among them.

The LAM Undersecretary Omar Salem al-Akbari, head of the technical committee for elections of governors said the ministry would hold on Wednesday an intensive course for the training of chairmen and members of the supervising committees, directory of instructions and handling all the legal documents so that afterwards the committees would go to the governorates on Thursday. The committees moving to the governorates will be coinciding with supplying offices of the committees supervising nomination and voting in preparation for receiving applicants to nomination for the post of the capital mayor and governors of provinces beginning from 3 May and for six days after which the names of accepted applicants for nomination will be announced on 9th of next May.

A statement by the information committee of the Local Administration Ministry obtained by almotamar.net mentioned that the chairmen of the supervising committees of Sana�a and Saada governorates were replaces by two others after the first have apologized of undertaking the task.

The LAM Undersecretary affirmed that the procedures of meeting with heads and members of the supervising committees and providing them with necessary documents and cards have been done normally with the required form.
