Almotamar.net - The United Arab Emirates State (UAE) announced Monday offering Yemen 500 thousand tons of wheat as a gift to the people of Yemen. President of the UAE Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid Al Nhayan gave his directions for buying 500 thousand tons of wheat and offering it a gift to the Yemeni people.
The Emirates news agency has reported that the gift is a contribution by the President of the UAE to help alleviate living burdens of the Yemeni people, resulting from the rise in wheat prices in world markets.
President of the UAE had earlier ordered offering one million of wheat a gift to Egypt to help it face the rise in grains prices in the world.
