Almotamar Net - The government has on Tuesday referred the subject of allocating seats for women in the local councils as elected according to the quota to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour. In its meeting today the cabinet decided to send the memorandum, presented by the Presidency Office on the study of allocating seats for women in the local councils in accordance to the initiative of president Ali Abdullah Saleh, to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour to revise the study and then report results to the cabinet in its next meeting.

Almotamar.net - The government has on Tuesday referred the subject of allocating seats for women in the local councils as elected according to the quota to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour. In its meeting today the cabinet decided to send the memorandum, presented by the Presidency Office on the study of allocating seats for women in the local councils in accordance to the initiative of president Ali Abdullah Saleh, to the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour to revise the study and then report results to the cabinet in its next meeting.
The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar discussed a report by the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour on situations of civil society organisations and different cooperatives and ways of developing them.
