Almotamar.net - Yemen has asked the Chinese government to repatriate four Yemeni citizens serving imprisonment sentences in China over commercial cases. The Yemeni request came at the conclusion of a 2-day visit to Yemen by the Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping.

During his visit the Chinese Vice President, official talks were held between the two countries and resulted in signing five memos, among them a Chinese grant to Yemen amounting 80 million yuan and 200 million yuan as easy loans to Yemen.

Reliable sources mentioned that the 3 to 4 persons , among them businessmen , and that the Yemeni request focuses on that they complete the remaining of their sentence period inside Yemen. 26 September weekly quoted Thursday the same sources saying that Yemen handed the Chinese side a draft agreement of security exchange allowing handing over the wanted and possibility of transferring them to spend the period of punishment in their respective countries.
