Almotamar Net - Egyptian artist Hanan al-Turk, who is ambassador of good will for Islamic relief has on Thursday urged the Yemenis to plant grapes and coffee instead of qat. At a press conference held on the sidelines Al-Saeeda Airways Company inauguration of its electronic website for ticket sale and booking via travel and tourism agents, she added she was surprised during her visit to Yemen about the Yemenis interest in planting qat and abandoning plantation of grapes and coffee.

Almotamar.net - Egyptian artist Hanan al-Turk, who is ambassador of good will for Islamic relief has on Thursday urged the Yemenis to plant grapes and coffee instead of qat. At a press conference held on the sidelines Al-Saeeda Airways Company inauguration of its electronic website for ticket sale and booking via travel and tourism agents, she added she was surprised during her visit to Yemen about the Yemenis interest in planting qat and abandoning plantation of grapes and coffee.

She has also praised stands of President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his support for the cancer foundation. She addressed the journalists by saying, "You are enjoying freedom and democracy in this secure country under the leadership of President Ali Abdullah Saleh. She added that during her stay in Yemen she found response from the people and businessmen and officials to building hospitals for cancer in Sana'a and Aden and that would be the first fruit for curing cancer," saying she was surprised to find out that the number of people infected with cancer reaches 22000 annually.
