Almotamar Net - Members of the United Nations Security Council (SC) condemned Wednesday the attack targeted the American embassy in Yemen and left a number of killed or wounded. Ambassador Michel Kafandu, permanent representative Burkina Faso, the chairman of the Council for this month. The release mentioned that the Security Council stresses the need to send perpetrators and plotters and financiers of that terrorist act to justice, and they praise the government of Yemens commitment to this regard and the Security Council members urge all countries, according to their international commitments, cooperate with actively with the Yemeni government in this field.

Almotamar.net, Agencies - Members of the United Nations Security Council (SC) condemned Wednesday the attack targeted the American embassy in Yemen and left a number of killed or wounded. Ambassador Michel Kafandu, permanent representative Burkina Faso, the chairman of the Council for this month. The release mentioned that the Security Council stresses the need to send perpetrators and plotters and financiers of that terrorist act to justice, and they praise the government of Yemen's commitment to this regard and the Security Council members urge all countries, according to their international commitments, cooperate with actively with the Yemeni government in this field.
The SC members stressed that all terrorist acts are considered criminal and unjustifiable regardless of their motives.

The Secretary General of the UN Ban Ki-Mon also strongly condemned the attack and expressed his sorrow for the death of 16 persons among them Yemeni security guards and civilians. He said attacks on diplomatic establishments and their staffs all over the world violates the international law and called on the Yemeni authorities to exert all efforts to make those responsible for the attack stand trial.

On the other hand the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the American embassy in Sana'a on Wednesday and left a number of killed and wounded, expressing its great pain and sorrow for what such terrorist operations cause of losses in claiming innocent lives and disturb security and stability of the homeland and the people.

Secretary General of the GCC Abdurrahman Al-Attiyah renewed the GCC states solidarity with Yemen and affirmed the Gulf states firm stand of rejecting terror whatever it was and from any source.
