The spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a press brief Friday Russia strongly condemns this attack that cannot be justified and condemns any terrorist operations whatever their source was. The Russian official also expressed his regret for the killing of many persons in the brutal attack that has no justification and exciting anger and necessitates condemnation.

He said the incident reminded the international community that it is still in a state of war on international terrorism.

For his part the Democratic candidate for the American presidential elections Senator Barak Obama condemned the incident of the terrorist explosion that targeted the American embassy in Sana'a last Wednesday.

Obama said he condemns strongly the attack on the American embassy in Yemen. He also offered his respect to the guards of the embassy who defended the American complex and expressed his sincere solidarity with the victims and their families. Obama added in a statement in this regard that despite there was no American casualty in the terrorist operation he had received the news of the innocent death with deep sorrow.

Senator Obama added that the latest attack requires them to double their efforts to uproot and destroy al-Qaeda and its branches all over the world and confirmed his commitment to double efforts aimed to destroy al-Qaeda organisation. He pledged offering more American assistance to improve and develop security and military and intelligence capabilities to the states situated on the frontline with terror, among them is Yemen.
