Almotamar.net - Assistant Secretary General of the General People's Congress (GPC) Yahya al-Raei has called Sunday on the Yemen Socialist Party (YSP) and member parties of the Joint meeting Parties (JMP) to actively participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections. He said, "I call the YSP, the actual partner of the GPC in the reunification of Yemen for taking part in the upcoming parliamentary elections besides the JMP, for practicing the democratic right ant not to play on feelings of the people and shed crocodile tears over electric power cuts."

Al-Raei said," We have a democratic right ahead of us and there are challenges facing the homeland where enemies of the homeland are targeting its unity and working to destabilize its security and stability."

Al-Raei's remarks came at a Ramadan evening held in Al-Baida governorate on Saturday on the occasion of celebrating the national days of the 26 September and 14 October revolutions and the Independence Day on 30 November.
