Almotamar Net - Official sources told almotamar.net Monday that security authorities captured a number of persons involved n kidnapping German experts since Sunday afternoon in the area of Bani Dabyan, Sana’a governorate while other persons suspected to be involved in this crime are being hunted down in more than one area. The kidnapping crime has been largely and severely condemned and denounced by civil society organizations that have demanded for strict punishment against those that perpetrated that terrorist crime.

almotamar.net - Official sources told almotamar.net Monday that security authorities captured a number of persons involved n kidnapping German experts since Sunday afternoon in the area of Bani Dabyan, Sana’a governorate while other persons suspected to be involved in this crime are being hunted down in more than one area. The kidnapping crime has been largely and severely condemned and denounced by civil society organizations that have demanded for strict punishment against those that perpetrated that terrorist crime.

The National Alliance of the civil society organizations described the incident of kidnapping the German citizens as a criminal and terrorist act alien to Yemenis characteristics. The Alliance affirmed in a statement obtained by almotamar.net that the Yemenis are known of their generosity and hospitality and that the act of kidnapping is alien to the Yemeni society and its values and it also contradicts teachings of Islam.

Earlier the Assistant Governor of Sana’a Abdulmalik al-Gharbi said Monday a large security campaign was surrounding the Bani Dabyan area with the aim of tightening the grip on a group of gunmen there, accusing them of kidnapping three German nationals since Sunday evening.


Al-Gharbi clarified to almotamar.net that a large number of security troops are surrounding the area, 60 km to the east of Sana’a, from four directions in preparation for storming it and liberate the kidnapped who are one man and two women. One of the kidnapped works at the United Nations Office. They were kidnapped in Radaa district, Al-Baidha governorate.
