almotamar.net - The shores of the Yemeni governorate Abyan and Hadramout have recently received more than 961 refugees from Somalia, among them 263 women and 57 children who have migrated since the beginning of December 2008.

The Interior Ministry news website mentioned that the wave migration of those refugees was on daily basis during the period 1-15 of December except during the days of Eid |Al Adha.

Quoting security reports the website mentioned that around half those refugees have landed on the shore of Ahwar of the governorate of Abyan where the number of the Somalis who reached it was 469, among them 103 women and 13 children.

Hadramout governorate on the meantime witnessed the flow of 422 refugees landed on Brum and Shahr coasts, among them 130 women and 44 children. The governorate of Taiz has received in the same period other 70 Somali refugees, among them 30 women, all of who landed on the coastal area of Thubab.

Security reports did not report landing of other refugees from countries of the Horn of Africa except for 6 Ethiopian women who were arrested in the southern area of Shahn, the governorate of Mahra.
